BS5588 - Part 12 Managing fire safety.

Has any one use this to develop a fire safety management structure or as a bench mark for their company?

I'd be interested in your thoughts and comments.

Good thorough document, but somewhat academic in parts, suggestung that some of it has been written by people who have never had to managem fire safety in an organization. Also, tends to be written on places for the big sexy complex fire engineered building.

Yes, if you pick and choose carefully the things that are appropriate. And even if it were not, it is the recognized standard now.
