Hi All Have Been Asked To Add Extra Devices To A Chubb Zone Master 206 E Panel
They Have  Hochiki Smoke & Heat Detectors  Sounders And Call Points Already On The System. Can You Use Conventional  Call Points And Sounders On This System Or Will They Have To Be Obtained From Chubb And Has Anybody Got Manuals For This System I Can Have  A Copy Off

Thank You

Chubb only re-badge other manufacturers control panels.  Therefore you will be able to use other manufacturers of devices on the system.  Although would be a good idea to continue with the same manufacturer of devices to give the client ease of maintenance in the future.

Worth checking though that it isn't a twin-wire (sav-wire) prior to fitting then you will need the special bases etc rather than standard.

How old is the system...??

I thought Chubbs used to have the Hochiki heads "bastardised" so you had to buy that specific head to work with the zone master......?

The 206E I believe is still a current panel, mainly used for export

I also found this out years ago on an old Chubb panel , where you had 100ohm bases and hochiki detectors , a company came in and signed off the job , with S60s at the time as they had added new zones, and none of it worked , after a fire had occurred , in the area of the new works .
The detector would activate and the led came on but wouldnt trigger the panel .
Its time to make a counter attack !
