Fire fighter interview
« on: February 03, 2009, 10:44:36 AM »
Firstly hi to everyone, as this is my first post.

My situation is, that i've sat the interview on three seperate occasions, over the last 5yrs. I have been unsuccessful on all counts and wondered if anyone on hear can offer some advice?

I have another interview lined up within the next four weeks and desperately want to pass, but i'm struggling to identify ways to change the PQA's relevent to my life. I've used mostly work based answers, from several jobs, but this obviously isn't working.

A friend of mine has mentioned a DVD called how to become a fire fighter, does anyone know if this is worth buying? or will it just be a run through of the advise notes that are sent to you from brigades. Even better, has anyone got a copy they could burn off for me?? ha ha!!

If anyone can help with any of my questions i'd be most greatful, and please feel free to send me a message.

Thank you

look at www.fireservice.co.uk and then at their forums - a wealth of information and guidance!!
My posts reflect my personal views and beliefs and not those of my employer. If I offend anyone it is usually unintentional, please be kind. If it is intentional I guess it will be clear!
