I nned some advice, I am troubleshooting a Vesda VLS Loop (that I did not install) and I keep getting Zone, System, Network, and Urgent faults.

With a Laptop and VS3 software, I get cannot find display relay for all 3 of my zones, I only have 3 zones and detectors in the field. They are all addressed properly according to the software, and I believe the system was installed properly and running operably before my arrival.

Should the loop be completed and taken out of open ended loop? If all displays are lit up and look functional are there any ways to determine without ordering a new one if the relay cards are bad?

I have the correct voltage, configuration, and programming, no airflow faults just primarily system and network faults. Also what is the best way to configure the sensitivity for the zones on the detector. The panel causes alarms due to inmates smoking, and I feel that the sensitivity levels may need to be adjusted because this is a difficult situation to manage.

I would guess it is looking for a relay card/programmer that does not exist.

Try disabling them and see what happens.
