I'm compiling an illustrated guide for our fire drill staff to the different types of call points, keys & test methods around from the 60's to date.
I've never yet been to a buliding with the latest Gent MCP's that I've done a test on, although I have the key
Question is that although I know you slide a little cover to reveal the triangular screw in the bottom part, do you:
a) press the element to test & use the triangular test key to reset it,
b) use the triangular test key to drop the element to test
c) use the triangular test key to unscrew the cover and press an inner button like the gent stuff circa 1950's to late 70's.
Any photos of older types of call points (Tann syncronome etc) and old style AFD & EL fittings would help as I am compiling a guide for our newer staff who don't recognise old style kit like pixie bulbs, bi-metallic strips, etc as the training courses only focus on the nice shiny new stuff.
Copies of my guides will be freely available to any wanting them once complete
