Has anyone ever heard of  / seen / used / come across  a product known as "Mitra Fire Glaze"???

It looks like georgian wired glazing, but is made from plastic rather than glass

Ive googled / search for the name but to no avail

Anyone have any info on this? is it fire resisting?

Have you tried Glass & Glazing Frederation
www.ggf.org.uk
info@ggf.org.uk
they have produced a useful guide to glazing best practice (july 2009)which does list glazing types inculding a resin laminate but I could see no referance to "Mitra"

Thanks for you reply Rn - the silence on this thread was deafening, and I swear I saw tumbleweed blowing around at one stage.

I did look, but just threw up a load of Indian sites (Mitra a common name there) and automotive polish!

Cheers for doing that Anthony - I was only kidding about the lack of response - no offence meant to anyone.

I got the same search results as you, will have to draw a blank "Mitra" for now.
