Dry Riser Testing

Am I correct in asking for dry risers to be pressure tested every year and visually inspected 6 monthly? Any views or opinions welcome.

If being maintained as per the current BS, yes.

If you don't follow the BS you need to demonstrate that your alternative regime is suitable & sufficient.

Most office blocks where there is little risk of damage to outlets only bother with the annual test for example.
