Anyone know what panel this may be? It's a 'Fire alarm control Series 6000 - EN54-2 1997'.
It's obviously no more than 13 years old, but had numerous faults and looks like it's been silenced (not good in a care home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
) - the call points haven't been tested for about a month, so this could have been going on for a while.... The fire alarm instructions are dated 1991
Previous 6 monthly servicing/testing has been fine - but would it be worth recommending the new care home managers to get rid and install a new system? Or is it possible to upgrade this type? They currently rely on Dorgards, with a few mag door holders, and maintenance records of things like this aren't exactly... great. They also need to change a few detector heads to heat, and the provision of bells seemed sparse.
