Every day there are about 20 new members on the forum. It appears about 18 of them are not human- but are computers wishing to infiltrate the forum, issue spam messages and download your email addresses (where you choose to leave them visible to others) etc to spam all of you. Some are easy to spot and some are not. Those that are obvious spammers are blocked before they get chance to post. With some it is not clear and I would be very sorry to discourage a genuine new poster to the forum.

Powermad ? You aint seen nothing yet Dr Wiz.  (Laughs manically)

Isn't there a way round this by having a box in which you have to type some text that a bot can't recognise when you first join?  If not then it's time to introduce it if you're getting 18 bots a day managing to join!
There's nothing simple about a Meerkat...

I know.

Many of them have now gravitated into the banter bar. That place is inhuman.
