Radio Cat A fire door retainer released

The System X transmitter (TX) is wired directly into the fire alarm panels fire and fault relay or loop via an I/O unit. The System X unit utilises Wi-Fi technology to communicate with all linked devices,

Hardwired version of System X is fully fail safe and complies with BS EN 1155 and BS 7273-4 category The link between the transmitter and receiver unit(s) is completely wireless. The transmitter constantly monitors the status of each linked device including the battery life and signal strength.

    * Operates all linked products
    * Fail to safe
    * Night-time release
    * Dual battery supply
    * 1000m site specific range (hardwired)
    * Complies with BS 7273-4 category A

I will ammend it but considering the moderators and a number of others have their email addresses and or companies at the bottom of each post I think everyone is blatently advertising.

This is the only wireless Cat A device on the market so its an info post rather than a duplicate

Without getting into the site rules at this stage, theres a couple of points I would be interested to explore.

First Tom I understand there is another Cat A similar device on the Market- ie the Salamander?

Secondly you know what the market really needs is a radio linked swing free door closer conforming to both BSEN1154 and BS7273 part 4 . Now that would be a huge benefit to the Care Industry and improve the quality of life for so many  people. Anything happening on that front?

Hey Davo be careful you just sound like the person we need for a further moderator- can we draw you in ?

Yep we've used the Salamander lots of times in preference to X..... never had a problem.
