Thanks Tom
I also have carried out a thorough search of the CLG website and cannot find any more information. It appears that it was discussed at a BRACS meeting last September but no outcome is reported. It makes no metion of it on the CLG 5 year plan.

I wonder if the idea has been shelved? I will email Stewart Kidd and see if he has any more info. It might be that the fire risk management article has been in the offing for some time.

There was a consultation letter sent to LAs and FRAs proposing to repeal these provisions.
It's still on the agenda but there 's been no statement yet.

Thank you Brian.

Do you know if the consultation letter is available in the public domain?

Kurnal, we had some input recently discussing the removal of these local acts, but I can't seem to find any confirmation that it has occurred.
