Lightning Protection

Was carrying out a FRA in RoI and came across a lighting protection system which did not incorporate rods. The building had a metal roof with exposed AC plant and steel gantries. Conducting straps were fixed around the edge of and over the top the roof. Anyone know if this this a recognised method ie to use the building structure as a strike point?

It's called a faraday cage NT and is a very effective means of lightning protection. But if in doubt why not recommend a check by a competent lightning protection engineer?

I did come across the faraday cage on my research K and have recommended a look at by an engineer. Ta.
