Letter of reliance for a FRA
« on: August 02, 2018, 01:49:01 PM »
Hi all

anyone else ever been asked for a letter of reliance for a fire risk assessment. I hadn't even heard of one until i have been asked for one.
Each and every day is a learning curve and today is one of those days?

Hi all

Apparently a Letter of reliance is a short form letter of reliance (legal term) that can be used when a third party wishes to rely on a report or survey prepared by a company or a consultant for another party and where collateral warranties or third party rights are not available.
All my responses only apply to England and Wales and they are an overview of the subject, hopefully it will point you in the right direction and always treat with caution.
