Ironic that ODPM who are in charge of fire safety etc are also Dept in charge of programme, planning to concrete over much of Southern England, so likelihood of situation reoccuring will increase as I see it.


When Buncefield Terminal was opened in 1969 I worked for Shell and visited; then it was surrounded by open fields!

for any of you who are interested, i have a mate who works for kidde and has informed me it was  600000 ltrs they supplied towards this job,also said that equates to nearly six tonnes of foam concentrate.......
