N2O fires
« on: March 03, 2006, 04:32:36 PM »
I am wondering if anyone can shed a little light on fires involving notrous oxide production, I have been trying to do some research but most of the plants worldwide are in India and they dont seem to respond to e-mails. What I am looking at is the LAN (liquid ammonium nitrate) as is enters the site and the process and storage of n20, all towards what the firefighting / safety options are.

Have you considered asking BOC who manufacture Nitrous Oxide for medical use in cylinders www.bocmedical.co.uk
