Domestic Fire Safety
« on: April 12, 2006, 07:37:38 PM »
I am looking to convert my loft in the near future and have had the plans drawn up and approval has been passed. The only thing is that as I do not deal with this sector in my business, therefore I am not very clued-up on suppliers. So basically I am looking for the best mains powered battery back-up interconnected smoke alarms, 4 fire doors (that look nice) one with door closer. Also, as I did my dissertation at university on domestic prinkler systems this still interests me, so if anyone has any info i.e. on installers, approximate prices, any grants available, if my house can be used as an example retrofitted premises to use for possible sales (put through the books).
Any help would be greatfully received.

A Relay pattress could trigger the door closer.
