Transferring Abroad
« on: October 10, 2006, 09:53:26 PM »
Hi.

I'm currently a Leading Firefighter at a British airport.  I'm really interested in a move abroad (preferably Australia) and was wondering how easy it is to transfer as an airport firefighter. Is it possible at all?!  Does anyone know if it's been done before and what the requirements are?

Cheers.

You make application, get points awarded on case merit.  Based on qualifications, financial status (so you will not likely impinge on their welfare).  If you contact the embassy people to do with emigration they will put you on the right path.  Ask at your local citizens advice bureau.
