Hmmmm! Where do we start here.
1. Gents have never manufactured a system 3200.
2.There is no comms tool facility on 800, therefore SAFE ( Safe Address Firmware Encoded) is not available.
3. You cannot manually allocate additional devices.
4. 800 was a budget 1 loop, conventional head addressable base system using the Esser (German) bus and bears no resemblance to the true annalogue, 2 loop system 32000 ( which I presume you alude to).
5.It would be a tricky proposition to retrofit a 3200 (32000) with a 800 panel even if you could obtain one of these obsolete devices.... Dont try this at home children.
Sorry for the delay in my responce but I have been undertaking my research with Gents and a number of my own ex Gents/ Gents trained staff.
I stand by my original comments.

Hands up when wrong - I had my true analogue head on!
Just clear one thing up for me - what was the system which also used the conventonal head with "zone" modules that came up the zone and device number (you had to look it up in the book under the flap) - was it the 2400??
Buzz, I remember this one cos' I supplied a few of them in the late 90's - Up to 16 'addressable zone' modules designated A to P and 20 devices per zone. So the LCD displayed a message such as D12 or K5 and you looked up the location from the 'zone cards' under the flap!
I used to get these systems from SMS (the direct distribution arm of Gent). Because SMS never sold any of the other Gent addressable systems they just called this one 'The Addressable System' and the control panel had the order part number 70520-01NM. I don't know if Gents themself ever used the system, or if it was for the 'direct distribution arm' only.
SMS suddenly stopped supplying it just when the new EMI regulations came out because it didn't comply. You couldn't even buy additional accessories for the system although they were prepared to repair anything that became faulty.
My customers were angry that they could no longer add to a system they had recently bought, ripped the systems out, installed other kit and vowed never to install anything from Gent in the future!
