How much of a flammable liquid is it considered safe to store in one location? and does anyone have any advice on dosing the liquid.( by this I mean re filling a re useable container,

The Question relates to the liquid used in burners often used to heat hot trays for restaurants, which appears to be an Ethanol based liquid that is put into a burner, ignited and burns for around four hours, the container has an inbuilt snuffer lid so it is easy to extinguish.

any ideas before I am back on tomorrow?
