Fred, I'd be surprised if this was true.

You would be right. It only covers the control system

Unfortunately if the draft is anything like the published standard it goes way beyond the control system interface. I think it will have a major impact on my business which is in installing door holding devices.

Does anyone know how the standard is called up? Will it apply retrospectively or for new build?

I'm waiting for the actual standard to be sent to me after paying those nice people at BSI £150.
