Hi
Does anyone have any thoughts or reference documents on the above.

If I remember correctly an ex Avon Fire Officer was working for the heritage people any one know him or of him?

Perhaps the Fire Safety Officer at the National Trust would be able to offer advice - I don't know him or her, but I know they have such a department.

You may want to try English Heritage as well- I believe they have an officer who deals specifically with fire safety matters.

The FPA have a publication 'FSB21 The Fire Protection of Old Buildings and Historic Town Centres' - although I am still waiting for the copy I ordered in July.
