Yes.  It ISN'T a BA Wearer course so the number of times wearing the set is just sufficient to fulfill the requirements of the syndicate exercises.  It's all about you developing as your brigade'local' expert, able to provide answers to all the doubting Thomas's who cannot see the need to do things a certain way.  Obviously, you will have to demonstrate your competence in BA wearing yourself and then go on to improve in your habits/behaviours when wearing and being totally consistent in doing what you say.

I did mine many years ago at SFSTS with the final exercise on the ship at MacDonald Road fire station in Edinburgh.  Briliant!  Not quite the same course now though, or so I am led to believe.  Not as hot, not quite as physical but still challenging.

thanks for the info. im doing mine at Manston, exam first day tho. If you fail then you have to pack your bags and leave.

You get 2 shots at the exam.  The pass mark is 80%.  Make sure you know the full content of Op Dir 23/2006 and the exam will be a breeze.
