Flat with a masonette above
« on: February 13, 2008, 05:12:03 PM »
A building consists of a ground floor Flat with a masonette above.
They have seperate entrances.
There is a Grade D system in the ground floor flat and it was proposed that a similar system be installed in the masonette.
My question is, Is there any requirement for interlinking the systems, ie connecting the ground floor flat up with the masonette?

Assuming that the seperation is only half hour, would they need to be interconnected?

If it is not 1hr then it is not "Seperated"
If 1/2 then yes
