Has anyone attended the LGV Heavy Rescue Instructors course at T+W. If so can you let me have your thoughts?

Sorry, I should have put where the course was to be. Its at Tyne and Wear FRS Barmston Mere Training Centre.
Hope that makes sense.

I recently did the first Heavy Vehicle Rescue course at Moreton, it wasn't a bad course.  I got a lot out of it, especially when we had the chance to cut open a train carriage with all the challenges that it brings.  I am in the process of putting together a HVR course for my brigade now.

Kaiser thanks for the reply. Any chance of looking at your course outline or learning outcomes?
Are you having the course accredited by anyone or not?

The Moreton Heavy Vehicle Rescue course is more of an operators course than an instructors course. If you want more information on it, you might be better chatting to Neil Pederson at Moreton, he will give you a lot more information on it than I could.
Almost everyone of us that did our course, were going back to our brigades with a view to putting together an HVR course for ourselves.  I will PM you Neil's contact details.

Thanks Kaiser and thanks for the PM. When I enquired about learning outcomes etc I was refering to the course you were writing for your brigade rather than the Moreton course, but if you have not done any no probs.
