Its a good start but theres a lot of scope for improvement,  the description of the RRO is wrong as it only focuses on places of employment. Havn't got time at the moment!

My couple of dives into Wikipedia have not been encouraging. For example, the article on the 1973 Summerland fire is riddled with inaccuracies and needs a complete rewrite in my opinion. But as far as I can see, it can only be edited 'on-line' and would take for ever. I'd much rather be able to write at leisure 'off-line' and then submit it in one go.

I think you could write it off line and then copy and paste it in.

Good idea

In Wikipedia's defence they're really tightening up on inaccuracies by asking contributors to provide verifiable sources and back up claims made in written articles.

I contribute a lot to Wiki (thankfully Summerland fire isnt one of mine) and I have seen an improvement on bad / innacurate articles being brought up to scratch.

Mrs Retty must be a very understanding woman, not only letting you disappear down the pub for ages on end but also let you play for ages on Wiki!!!
Pray tell us what does Mrs Retty get up to whilst you're doing all this??

Steady Davo, she only lets me out down the pub twice yearly!

What does Mrs Retty do ?

Well, that's a question that has mystified me for years... aside from bossing me around, generally suffering from permenant bouts of Post Mortgage Tension, and demanding I re-decorate the lounge (for the fifth time in two years) I'm not overly sure... and I find it safer not to enquire.

You see I'm constantly " in the brown smelly stuff" ... and its just the depth that varies.

So to answer your question she is very understanding of anything that involves me getting from under her feet and embarrasing her in front of her friends (that's after I've had my daily rollocking of course).

MR wears the trousers and he has his wife's permission to say so!
