Could be a while yet to be honest. Some application stages take up to a month

Dont worry just sit tight and best of luck - hope all goes well for you.

Bad news I'm afraid mine took even longer than a month, more like two and a half!

Good luck though, best thing you can do is start preparing yourself for the next stage so when you get the letter inviting you you are already prepared!

If you want any help email me and I'll do what I can!

Again, Good Luck it's a long old road!!

If you get through to the next stage they'll send you a practice paper with a few more on, it's a tricky one to practice for as such because it is largely based on your views and opinions, they compare your results to the some of the Personal Qualities and Attributes (PQA's) they require you to meet, it would be worth looking at the PQA's so you have an idea of what they are looking for, these can be found on the fireservice website.

Hope this helps?

Andy

Have you looked into the RAF or Defence Fire Service, Serco also employ firefighters and look after some Military establishments. AWE (Atomic Weapons Establishment) also have their own fire service.
