Tactical ship f/f course
« on: May 09, 2008, 08:55:20 PM »
Hey boys and girls,
am getting sent to Moreton (again) in July for a Tactical ship firefighting course. I only volunteered coz I thought it was a Skip firefighting course which would permit me to tackle really big wheelie bins!
Anyway, is anyone else on here going (7th-11th July) or has anyone been in't past?
All I know is that it'll be bloody hot on that concrete boaty thing.
Any hints (apart from Don't Go)
cheers.

Have a more positive attitude to learning new skills and, you never know, you might actually learn something new.

Ever heard of sarcasm bud?
I am, in fact, really looking forward to the course. I was enquiring whether any Operational firefighters had been previously, or were going.
On a personal note, I think that gaining an Assessors Qualification, Defib-Trauma & first aid Instructor qualification, Swiftwater rescue technician qualification and an Incident Management course, all within the last 12 months, is pretty positive?
regards.

Sorry mate, the sarcasm escaped me.  So used to negative postings on here.  I apologise unreservedly and applaud your CPD.
