Help please!

Any one out there got any idea (number or %) how many businesses fail  following a fire?  I'm researching for a seminar to business.

Many different figures out there, but the ones I've been using recently are:
28% recover
29% fail within 3 years
43% never recover.

No attribution available, unfortunately.
Problem is, how many of those that go under would have done so anyway, regardless of fire/other major incident? Particularly true in SME sector, where failure rate is high anyway.

However, as an insurer, the figures seem credible: but someone else could very easily come up with others.
Hope that helps.
Mark
