Hi Everyone,
For those who aren't familiar with me.. I am a wholetime retained fire fighter (for different brigades), I have been RDS for about 4.5 yrs and WT since the beginning of this year. I have quite often 'acted up' in my RDS role and have had the oppurtunity to ride in charge several times, I have also recently been OIC of an exercise with 4 pumps.
A vacancy has arisen for a CM at my station which I have applied for, I have completed the first 2 of 4 stages (application and SJT's) and have just been told the drill and interview will take place in just under two weeks.
I am fairly confident about the drill, I've run a couple before and will have the opportunity to practice before the big night! I have been told the interview will consist of 6 questions, non PQA based (these have been measured at the SJT's), 3 will be set by the HR representative on the panel and three by my Station Commander and our Group Support Station Manager.
Anyone who can give me any insight into what the questions are likely to be or what you would advise I read up on beforehand, for example I have printed off the accident and sickness reporting procedure to familiarize myself with it.
I was happy with my SJT result, scoring a 4.
I am very keen to get this role and would like to do everything I can to best prepare myself foe the remaining deletion process so any help will be gratefully recieved!
Finally apologies if my spelling or typing isn't up to scratch but my computer is off the run at the minute so I'm doing this on my phone!
Many thanks in advance,
Andy
