Information on Flue fires

Can any point me in the direction of some documented info re the tempreture that may be reached in flues during a chimney fire I am interested in the temp at the cowl area

There's been a lot of interest in the past years on flue temperatures in connection with thatch fires - BRE Ltd and Hampshire F&RS have both been involved and may be worth contacting.
