Code of Practice 3
« on: February 25, 2010, 07:16:46 PM »
Hi guys,

I am trying to source a copy of CP3 from the 1960s. Flats and Maisonettes. I know there were two editions, can't recall dates, might be 1963 and 1968.  I have the 1971 edition that was in current up until the 1990s.

I know I can buy it from BSOL, but that is pricey!

My hard copy of the 1971 version, I have scanned, so have a PDF copy.  I am after a copy of a 1960s version, that someone has done the same as me with, scanned it to PDF.

So if anyone does have a copy of a 1960s version for Flats and Maisonettes, then I would happily swap a copy of the 1971 version with them.

Thanks,

Stinky

WARNING
Do not buy the document from BSOL. It is not what they say it is! Their index system is wrong and they will sell you a document relating only to dwellings of one and two storeys.  Fingers burned!

After a fair bit of hassle BSI have now tracked down the earliest version they can find of CP3 chapter 4 part 1- flats and maisonettes in blocks over 80ft in height.

This is the 1962 version and I have purchased a copy at the bargain price of £75. Now having read it am wondering why I bothered. Seen plenty of 60s tower blocks and not many are built to the CP3 design template.

Old thread, but if anyone has the 1971 version of CP3:Ch IV:Part 1 in electronic format and could forward it it would be most appreciated! :)
