"Man critical after Halloween costume catches fire
A man in his 20s is in a critical condition in hospital after his Halloween costume caught fire at a nightclub in Galway city on Wednesday night.
The man was taken to University College Hospital, Galway, with severe burns."

Another hazardous situation with Halloween parties. Black wheelie bin liners usually make good witches outfits, etc etc

And with a girl in Lancaster having her stomach removed last month after having liquid nitrogen in her drink as an effect, nightclubs will look at what looks good first and whether it unsafe won't occur to them untill someone gets hurt. One nightclub I went into had a trick where the barman would drizzle cocoa powder onto a flaming sambuca to create a 3ft fireball near people's faces.

I had a similar experience whilst abroad.

Barman managed to set a number of postcards from well wishers that were pinned to the bar with lit sambucca.

Could have been nasty as the whole of the bar was festooned in momento postcards and letters from past patrons.
