I've just seen this via a link from the MoE publication - has anybody any experience with using this system and any comments?

BS 9999 cautions against the use of battery inverters as secondary supplies for evac lifts & the "ELPS 20" supply appears to use a non-automatic changeover, which is a significant non-compliance with BS 9999 (clause 38.2.3.3).  Why you'd use one of these instead of installing a fire protected secondary circuit is beyond me.
