training request
« on: July 03, 2014, 03:39:02 PM »
Hi guys - I'm hoping I've posted this in the right place.

What I'm trying to find is someone who is prepared to spend two days (obviously chargeable) with me, on various sites around London giving a view on fire alarm systems and teaching me what to look for and how to spot issues. I am particularly keen for this to be someone with experience of residential (common area) set ups.  My issue is, with no disrespect to fire alarm bods, that without better knowledge myself, I am in danger or "over speccing" or just agreeing to anything a fire alarm company suggests!

I've read all the guidance, been on loads of courses, but am in dire need of benefiting from good old experience!

If it helps, I'm good company, have my own teeth and hair, and will happily keep whoever takes the challenge supplied with caffeine all day!

Make the day end with a Talisker, grease our palm with enough silver and you are on.

Thanks for reply Colin, I think I'm sorted now, but will be back with plenty of silver if / when I need more!
