I recall that an evangelical church based in an industrial unit, I think in the Erith area, was done for blocked fire exits, bad storage of gas cylinders (used for heating) and other things. This was 5-6 years ago? This is the only incident I can recall reading about.

On my own patch, one church was served with a deficiency notice a while ago and took immediate action to improve matters, so was not taken to court.

Yes, I've issued one. But not your traditional type church. If you look on CFOA register there is 7 or 8.

Dave - I've looked in the CFOA Prosecutions Register, but can't see any churches - what's the best search term to use, please?

John, I searched on public buildings. A number of church type buildings were evident. Mine also involved the prohibition of sleeping or "resting in the afternoon"
