Hi All,

Does anyone have any knowledge, experience of this situation?

I am working with a local Housing Association who is looking to install the following on the balconies in an 11 storey block: http://www.daikin.co.uk/minisite/daikin_altherma_lt/

The balconies are accessed via protected lift lobbies on all floors and are not accessible to the residents. There is also no link between the balconies and the protected escape stairwell.

Any concerns with this, assuming that the manufacturer confirms that they are fit for purpose, the units are installed/maintained correctly, and that any compartmentation issues as a result of the retro fit are addressed?

Thanks

The main concern is that unless the building is super insulated they won't keep people very warm.

Huge heating bills and people burning stuff to keep warm........
