Big Al, it grieves me constantly to correct you, but the report to which you link was NOT a Nashics summary at all- it is just an upload of the report by the then Strathclyde FRS, which was, at the very least, the 8th coolest FRS in the whole of the UK.  The fire and loss of life was a great and exceptionally sad trauma for the boys and girls of the Service, and none of the officers in Scotland ever forget the lessons learned and the need for auditing of care homes.

Pedantic comment on pedantry warning. Kurnal said all areas, not all premises. I think he's saying that the fire service is enforcer in care homes in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. which I think is true.

Absolutely - serves me right for straying into pedant territory!!!
