I am trying to source a realistic recording of sounds/noises from an aircraft cabin during an accident (eg screaming passengers), in an attempt to make some of our training exercises a bit more realistic.

Why not just get your mates to scream & shout into a tape recorder & save yourself some money?

Hi,
At my last station, one of the crew commanders made a CD with sound affects, he recorded boiling water, a deep fat fryer and added some screaming. The loop wasnt brilliant but the scenario noise was excellent. We found it best to use on flight and cabin crew CAP360 courses with smoke, to make effective realistic training.  If you still require sounds, let me know and I will do my best to get a copy.
Cheers
