Unless they extend the scope of the Building Safety Act it won't make much difference other than to residential buildings - which will need external consideration as part of the Fire Safety Act. More work for the specialists with all heights of resi being in scope for consideration of external structure - mainly because some insurers are (from experience) being reluctant to allow anything on EWS under their cover, even um-ing and ar-ing about making a statement on a simple 2 or 3 storey brick build without a separately insured specialist report.
Obviously the BSA deliberately has the option of scope widening, but unless there are some big non residential disasters memories are short and I doubt there will be the will to go further.
