Could any one who is familiar with PAS79 please clarify section 6? I believe that all of the sections 6.1 etc; down to 6.6 are now redundant?
Therefore ref in 6.7 should be made to the RRO as the legislation that applies?

You are correct of course but I would imagine that the nice Mr Todd has an amended copy for those who wish to purchase it.

I was told in january that it was out in its new format for public consultation.

PAS 79 has been fully amended, updated and round for consultation. It is now finished and with the printers. Should be published any day.

Any significant changes Val? apart fropm the obvious RRO?
Is it worth shelling out another £90 or am I likely to be dissapointed?

Hi Kurnal,

Sorry that its taken a while to resond.

There have been lots of changes to reflect the ethos of the RRO and a fair bit of tidying up but whether its worth £90 again??

Has it been published yet? I have been in contact with TSO and they are not aware of an amended version of PAS 79.
