Docfin i think the same too. you can only get experience on actuals, when thingsactually happen. Which you learn from. But in our case a ready trained fireman is better than someone who hasnt even started training before. i think i realise what dave has to say though. he's talking about the big step up, where things actually happen. But only way to gain knowledge about this is to throw us in the deep end me thinks.
