Has anyone used these yet , and able to give feed back as to what the system is like to use , ie in real terms , been through the data sheets etc , but would like to have any valued general comments .

Just had a demo of these and I like the look of them.

The door holder is not much bigger than a standard one, in fact the larger depth would be usefull where old style skirting boards are used.

The controller is operated with 4 buttons and is very easy to add and delete holders.

It operates by using a motor to turn the magnet in and out of position, when in position the battery just feeds the tx unit in the holder, battery - 2 x C cells - life is expected to be 12-24 months.

It isnt for new builds but where there are problems with wiring it would be ideal.

edit: erm im sure this isnt in breach of any rules but if so I appologise wholeheartedly before Wiz sends his beloved matron after me.

I believe taht they are Category A unit in BS 7273 pt 4 whereby dorguard are cat B.

Greg C, Benzerari is evidently in charge of the rules, not me. Anyway, Matron has a fear of salmanders, as well as newts and all other amphibians, so don't expect her to visit your room in this home for the slightly bewildered. However, if the door to your room is left propped open I'm sure prof. K will notice and have words with you - He's a real stickler for the rules (ex-fire service I believe)

Just completed a job with half a dozen of these , I couldn't find anything negative about the system , basically plug and play. I was presently surprised at how well it went , I will keep you guys up to speed ,as I am using the site where they are fitted as a bit of R & D.

Still working perfectly , no complaints from site , will definitely use these again.
