Does anyone out there know of a system for the engineers to carry a hand held device. this would have a legin card on it to show where all equipment is and they could add parts and discharge tests to cut back on time and paperwork. Able to accept call outs would also be benificial.

I know it exists - Chubb engineers have such as system that prints off a summary to leave with the client as well as all the factors you state.

As for who makes it, etc, not sure - it will most likely be the people that make hand held parking ticket enforcement machines as they are similar in function
