Solo Testifire

Credit where credit is due and this is a great piece of test kit.

Had to save up a few pennies but finding out now it's been worth it.

Gone are the days of having to take two testers around for smoke and heat.

anyone else buying/bought one?

They look good, I asked about them a while ago and they never came back to me with a price ( in fact I still do not know the cost).
Not sure they will be strong enough for our engineers to throw in the back of our vans though.
I refuse to have a battle of wittts with an unarmed person.

Agree it's a pricey kit but i was at a site today which normally takes me ages becuase it's fitted with those horrible detectors that start with S that are very prone to flooding at the slightest whiff of test aerosol.

I just selected smoke followed by clear on the tester and bingo. No more waiting around for ages for the detector to clear as like before and alot easier only having to carry round one tester.
