Help with a Procyon panel

Hi guys, wondering if anyone has any experience of Procyon (8 loop) panels..

I have a bit of a problem, 2 xp95 call points went faulty on the system through water damage, I replaced them and the fault cleared for it, however it still left the **Call Engineer** screen and it makes a short beep every 20 seconds or so. I have entered the high access code which normally clears it in the past if theres been any problem with the panel , but this time it isnt clearing.

I've tried powering down and back-up, and entering the code multiple times, also changing the system time and date so it may generate a new checksum but still no luck.

Any help you have would be great

You need to enter the engineer reset code which,unfortunately,I can't remember (7815??).
Have a amnual on it somewhere but I don't think it gives the code in it (didn't think there were too many of these Dunford panels left out there).

Blimey, not seen one of these panels for a while.... in fact last time I worked on one of these, to my sins... was almost 10 years ago.... Hated the blasted things... many a night spent on call outs locating faults on these systems

Thanks for the replies everyone, I had entered the 7915 code a few times, and in the past its always cleared the call engineer message - but this time its not working. Think it may be time for a new panel, but cant see the customer wanting to fork out at this moment in time.

Tried turning it off and on again in case it has locked up?
How many loops is it?

Be careful if you completely power down , as if the battery holding the ram information is shot you will loose the lot.
I would grab all the info out of the panel first just in case it falls over.
Then try what Buzz suggested , that should clear it.

There is that right enough!Ages since I worked on one but I vaguely remember three red buttons (one on the back of the display board,one inside front door and one on the main board) doing something (the one on the display board reset processor faults) but mind blank regards rest!

Indeed, I do remember pressing the little red button on the display PCB to clear certain processor fault indications.... Geeeeeez thats a while back now

I tried powering it down and back up, to no use. Logged everything ok and all normal except for the call engineer screen.

The red buttons, the one on the processor board when pressed causes the panel to go blank and does nothing except for a high pitch beeping noise (as opposed to the normal Procyon loud buzzer). Only way was to power down and back up to return it to normal.

Press a key first..then it asks for the code..then make sure you get an asterix as you type in each number.The code you are using is correct it the panel just needs a bit of a tlc...or a rubber mallet !!

past the rubber mallet stage -> brings in a wrecking ball and crane
