Kurnal, You will be pleased to know that I wrote this for enforcing authorities in Northern Ireland, who found it so useful that, in 2006, I adapted it for the UK market and it is published by BSI under an agreement between them and the Northern Ireland Fire Safety Panel, with whom I share the rights.
It is really intended for people who need to check active fire protection systems for approval purposes, such as fire and rescue authorities and building control bodies, but is useful for anyone who, say, has to do system acceptance. I am not sure that fire risk assessors would need the level of detail it contains. Before you spend an amount equivalent to 6 hours at your hourly rate, I can let you see a copy next time we meet, so you can taste and try before you buy.
