The detail of the building involved is not clear, but I suspect this was an industrial style building rather than a purpose-built church? Possibly on an industrial estate?

I'm not surprised the fine was around £30,000 with the hazards as described, but it is the largest I've heard of for a religious group.

The new IFE Guide for churches will be launched at the Heritage Special Interest Group Seminar being held in London on Tuesday March 13th, in the Flett Theatre, Natural History Museum. I'll post details of this Seminar when they are fully available.
