In dusty cupboards in offices around the land. You can probably buy it from BSI for a huge pile of dosh.

Yes it is available from BSI - both the 1971 and 1948 versions are available through BSI archives at about £80 if I recall. I have a hard copy of the 1971 version and would not mind either answering questions or copying the odd page if that will help. Email me if you wish.
