Interesting tack taken with regard to documentation and all the various degrees of responsibilty. Nothing much of a change there but I often wonder why massive electrical installations can have certification committed to one document that embraces design, construction and inspection and testing. Thus verification will normally be left with the person responsible for the latter. It is therefore necessary that this person has a full understanding of BS7671 2008, is aware of design details, specifications and is on site at sufficient intervals to ensure that the system is properly erected. It is a good system that avoids exessive paperwork and crucially ensures that disparate parties attend to their responsibilities. Strange how BS's often cant be standard!
