They're only the same as all other fags were a few years ago. As the comment in the article suggests - fake fags are more likely to be smoked by people who are already vulnerable to fire and are more likely to be associated with other risk factors such as smoking these cigarettes indoors.

P.S. Those pesky self extinguishing cigarettes are a pain when golfing cos they keep going out when you drop them down to play a shot.
